Medical:
In spite of rapidly rising healthcare costs, Qtech is pleased to be able to provide three affordable medical options to meet the diverse needs of our associates. Two of the medical options are available with the United Healthcare and Aetna networks. Associates can select the coverage level that is best for them AND the provider network in which their preferred doctors participate.
Dental:
Qtech provides this coverage through MetLife’s Preferred Dentist Program (PDP). Our coverage is tiered (Employee only, Employee + 1, Employee + 2 or more). Employee premium contributions are contingent on the level of coverage elected.
Vision:
Qtech provides associates the option to elect a comprehensive vision plan through Spectera which includes coverage of eye exams, eye glasses or contact lenses. Associates who elect Medical coverage through any of our three plans are automatically enrolled in our Vision plan.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account:
Qtech provides associates the opportunity to take advantage of tax-savings on eligible dependent care expense through our Dependent Care FSA. Associates can set aside up to $5,000 per year for qualifying expenses.
Life Insurance:
Qtech provides $50,000 of life insurance coverage for all associates and $2,000 of coverage for an associate’s spouse or domestic partner and children. Qtech pays 100% of the cost of this coverage. In addition, associates have the ability to purchase additional coverage for themselves and their qualifying dependents through Cigna.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D):
Qtech provides $50,000 in AD&D insurance coverage to eligible associates through MetLife. Qtech pays 100% of the cost of this coverage.
Short-term Disability Insurance:
Qtech provides short-term disability insurance to supplement any state sponsored income replacement plans up to 66 2/3% of your base salary, up to a maximum of $1,500 per week. The cost of the insurance is paid for by the company. However, in states with mandated STD programs applicable state income taxes related to STD will apply.
Long-term Disability Insurance:
Qtech provides long-term disability insurance through MetLife to eligible employees (dependent on Visa and residency status). Qtech’s long-term disability insurance provides income replacement up to 60% of your salary up to a maximum of $7,500 per month. Qtech pays 100% of the cost of this coverage.
MetLaw:
Qtech associates are eligible to enroll in MetLaw, a program whereby associates can take advantage of significant savings on basic legal services.
401K Plan:
Qtech offers a 401K plan through Mass Mutual. After one year of service with any Qtech company, we offer a company match of 50% up to the first 6% of compensation per pay cycle. Qtech matching funds are immediately vested in the plan.
Vacation:
Full time associates are eligible for accrual of paid vacation time. Paid vacation time may be used in increments of either a half-day (4 hours) or whole-day (8 hours). Vacation time eligibility is as follows: Up to Assistant Manager: 10 days per year; Manager: 12 days per year; Senior Manager to Director: 15 days per year; Assistant Vice President and above: 20 days per year.
Loans:
Qtech offers associates interest free loans to assist with the purchase of a computer, automobile or to assist with vacation expenses.
Additional Benefits:
Qtech also offers a variety of voluntary benefits to associates including home/auto insurance discounts, discounts on computers, electronics, cell phones, new car purchases, and more.
